I am a Lead Look Development Artist specializing in Animation and Real-Time Asset creation. I have years of leadership experience working in Animation and Virtual Production. I have led teams of artists in the same room, working remote, or overseeing an Outsource Team.
At my core, I love to tell stories. Dedicating my life to a career in the entertainment industry has allowed me to bring a great amount of passion to my work, and a thirst to always learn more.
I was the Lead Look Development artist for Season 1 &2 on Nickelodeon's Max and the Midknights. This was Nickelodeon's first show ever in Unreal Engine, and I was brought onto the team very early in development to help establish the look of the show.
The show has a lovely stop-motion style to it, and everything needed to feel miniature and made from real world materials. I developed shaders for the skin to look like clay, or for the eyes to react to lighting like a glass bead. I enjoyed making various fabrics, and environment assets like leaves that were meant to look like they were made from canvas and brushed with paint.
This role was an absolute pleasure, the team was amazing and the show is something truly special.
Designed sets for Television and streaming shows, as well as live events. We did full virtual production shows on green screen as well as inside LED volumes.
I was tasked with maintaining the quality of all the 3D art the studio was creating, as well as leading individual teams of artists.
I have experience working in a studio environment, working from home, and working on set with directors and other art departments. I've worked with teams large and small on many projects, ranging from live award shows to Disney+ competition shows.
